Overview

The PCNSA (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator) certification validates the knowledge and skills required for network security administrators responsible for deploying and operating Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs). PCNSA certified individuals have demonstrated knowledge of the Palo Alto Networks NGFW feature set and the Palo Alto Networks product portfolio core components.

There are no prerequisites for this exam. However, Firewall Essentials: Configuration and Management (EDU-210) course is recommended.

  • What is the exam fee ?

  • Can I reschedule or cancel my exam date after scheduling ?

    One can cancel the exam free of cost before 3 business days from the scheduled exam date. You can sign up for a new date and apply the payment towards the new one. However, there will be no refund on cancelling during 3 days of the exam date.

  • Do I get a certificate after passing the exam ?

    Yes, after passing the exam you will receive the instructions for accessing the certification Management System over the email. From there you can download your PCNSA eCertificate, Logos, and Digital Badge, and receive guidelines for including the credential in your email signature.

  • What are the recertification requirements ?

    To keep your certification in Active status, you must recertify by taking one of these exams PCNSA or PCNSE.
